Issue Position

California has been created from the imagination and hard work of people striving for a better life. But we are at a turning point between a society based on dependency on government or created by opportunity. Our current state government has clearly chosen a path leading to dependency that is no different than socialism and can only be supported by a non-sustainable redistribution of wealth. This has inevitably discouraged opportunity and long term prospects for economic recovery and prosperity. Now, we must renew California by returning to what has worked -- limited government, free enterprise, individual responsibility, and local control.
